David Slack
David Slack began practicing Iyengar yoga in 1998. Originally it was the clarity of Iyengar teaching and the physical challenges of the poses that drew his interest. After a time it became clear his yoga practice was giving him much more than strength, flexibility and stamina. The increased focus and balance that Iyengar yoga had given him made navigating life’s obstacles easier.
It was the realization of these benefits that sparked an impulse in him to share the practice with others. He began teaching in 2003. David is a Level 3 Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher. Sharing his skill and knowledge with students and passing on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar continue to bring David joy in every class session.
